Overview
The WCAG Deep Dive is a practical, three-part training series designed for professionals who need to understand accessibility standards at a deeper level.
Across three live sessions, you’ll gain the confidence to interpret, apply, and test WCAG 2.2 success criteria in real-world projects: whether you’re coding, creating content, or managing compliance obligations.

Topics covered by this course include;
- Introduction to WCAG
- We’ll cover all Level AA success criteria from WCAG 2.2:
- Perceivable: text alternatives, time-based media, adaptable layouts, distinguishable content
- Operable: keyboard accessibility, enough time, avoiding seizures, navigable interfaces, input modalities
- Understandable: readable content, predictable behaviour, input assistance
- Robust: compatibility across technologies
- Plus practical, real-world examples and activities throughout.
What You'll Learn
- How to navigate and interpret WCAG, understanding the structure, principles, guidelines and individual success criteria
- Learn each individual success criterion from WCAG 2.2 AA, what it means, and how to apply it
- How to recognise accessible and inaccessible patterns in website and app design, including common issues to avoid
- Understand how different disabilities are assisted by specific WCAG criteria, and why meeting them matters
- Apply WCAG in practice through real-world examples, identifying issues and remediating them to meet the guidelines
- Understand legal requirements and what is considered best practice in digital accessibility.
