National Autism Strategy
The Australian Government has released the country’s first National Autism Strategy. As part of the commitments around social inclusion, the strategy aims to “[increase] accessible and sensory-friendly public, broadcast and online spaces”.
Accessibility Software Provider Fined
In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued an order requiring an Accessibe to pay $1 million for making deceptive claims about their accessibility tool, claiming that its tool could make websites fully compliant with accessibility guidelines. WCAG 3 Working Draft Update
W3C have released an update to their WCAG 3 Working Draft - example guidelines and conformance. The development of WCAG 3.0 has been ongoing for a number of years and continues to develop. You can view the changes and find out more information about WCAG 3 on the W3C’s page.
